Planetarium Show
Planetariums are not what they used to be. In our state-of-the-art theater, the group is seated under a 50-foot dome where they learn how to identify the constellations in the night sky. Then, they can imagine being whisked through space as they view a multi-dimensional film exploring the universe. A selection of presentations is shown throughout the year. Planetarium shows begin on the hour. There is no admittance after the show has started. Duration: Approximately 45 minutes. Click here for a list of planetarium presentations.
Flight Simulator
Weighing hundreds or thousands of pounds, an airplane is capable of soaring through the sky at ease. How is this possible? Learn how an airplane flies using lift, thrust, force and drag. Then take the pilot seat and use a computerized flight simulator program to read flight instruments and control an airplane on the ground and in the air. Space is limited. Duration: 50 minutes
